UK Property Claims provides 2 options to choose if you undertake their services in regards to the management and settlement of your claim.
Option 1 – By appointing a UKPC claims assessor, along with the builders/- contractors that they introduce from their network of experts, their services will be free of charge. The contractors who repair your home will be paid by your insurance company as part of your claim and they, in turn, pay UKPC a fee for managing the network.
Option 2 – If you’d like to use your insurer’s builder or want a cash settlement, they can also negotiate any of these options for you. You are still able to appoint a UKPC Claims Assessor to help with this. In these cases, they would need to charge a small percentage of the claim value (10%). If they have to charge a fee, they will always expect it to be offset by the increase in the settlement we achieve for their clients.
