Impact Moling
What’s impact moling? In simple terms, we dig a trench near your water mains supply from where it enters your premises. We then place a machine which hammers out a hole for a pipe to be inserted and run underground which replaces your old water run, upgrading it to a new run. This will cause minimal damage to your property and prevent it from being dug up to replace the mains water run.
In the construction industry, there is becoming an increasingly large demand for impact moling services. When we find a leak in a mains supply pipe there is not just one leak but multiple leaks in your mains water supply pipe which connect to your property. We have over 15 years of combined experience in water moling services and would say we’re market leaders when it comes to moling in new water mains.
Moling is a trenchless method used to lay pipes, cables and
ductwork, as opposed to traditional methods which require the digging of long, continuous trenches first.
ductwork, as opposed to traditional methods which require the digging of long, continuous trenches first.

During the moling process, a pneumatically-driven machine known as a ‘Mole’ forces its way through the soil along the path of the pipe. Moling avoids the need to dig a trench and can be used to lay water pipes across your private land, home or premises.
We provide moling services mainly for residential premises to supply mains water pipes underground and upgrade them up to PVC pipes. We install pipes and ducts from 22mm – 63mm underground with little disruption to the ground.
Installation Distance: Up to 50 meters per day dependent on the required diameter and ground conditions.

If the property has not been dried after a leak, mould and further damage will appear in the décor of your building. This will also cause health implications when mould is taken in via the lungs, which can seriously cause issues to your health.
